He scored the goal of honor against Arsenal, in the 1: 3 loss to reach the 100th goal in the Premier League.
CR7 became only the fourth player to reach this figure at the club after Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney, reports Manchester United.
The 101st goal soon followed after scoring in the 1: 1 draw against Chelsea in the last game of April.
He scored almost all of United’s goals in April and deservedly won the Player of the Month award.
This is the second time Ronaldo has won this award, which is shared by the Premier League, since his return to England last summer.
He had done the same in September.
Ronaldo has won the Premier League Player of the Month award six times in total, equaling Steven Gerrard, while being behind Sergio Aguero and Harry Kanet in the overall list.
The Portuguese had won this award in November and December 2006 and then in January and March of the 2007/08 season.
