Ronaldo surpasses Messi as the highest paid footballer in the world

Cristiano Ronaldo has overtaken Lionel Messi in the list of the highest paid footballers in the world, as he is expected to become the footballer with the most entries in the 2021/22 season in the entire globe, according to Forbes.

The fat move to Manchester United has helped Cristiano Ronaldo overtake his conspiratorial rival, Lionel Messi, and become the highest paid footballer in the world again.

Forbes announced that Ronaldo will earn 125 million dollars during the 2021/22 season. Of that, $70 million salary and another $55 million off the field.

Messi, who also switched teams in the summer to join Paris Saint-Germain, is the second highest paid footballer in the world with $106 million.

Messi will lose the first place after leaving Barcelona, ??where he had a very fat salary that he does not enjoy at PSG.

His teammates Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are ranked fourth and fifth, respectively. While the top five closes Mohamed Salah of Liverpool.

But Ronaldo will lag behind athletes like Conor McGregor, Roger Federer, LeBron James and Tiger Woods in the overall list of athletes with the highest incomes in the world in the last year.
