Ronaldo with controversial reaction after Juventus qualification in the Champions League

Cristiano Ronaldo has silenced his critics with a controversial post on Instagram, after his team Juventus secured participation in the Champions League next season.

Ronaldo was left on the bench in Juventus 4: 1 victory against Bologna on the last day of the season in Serie A. The triumph of the whites in Bologna and the draw of Napoli with Verona, made Andrea Pirlo’s team secure the fourth place.

After the match, Ronaldo posted two photos on his Instagram account. The first is a black-and-white photograph in which he is seen holding his finger in front of his mouth in an attempt to silence Juventus critics.

The second photo shows Juventus players celebrating fourth place in Serie A at the Renato Dall’Ara stadium locker room, but Ronaldo is not present.

The Portuguese striker did not play against Bologna because Pirlo suddenly decided to put him on the bench for the most important match of the season and play with Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata in attack.

Pirlo explained after the match: “It was a joint decision, Ronaldo got tired after the match on Wednesday, so I decided to play with Morata, another great player.”
