Ronaldo writes history in the Champions League in his debut match with United

Ronaldo has become one of the most all-time appearances in the history of the Champions League, 177 – equaling Iker Casillas.

36-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo has started from the beginning the challenge with Manchester United against Young Boys in the Champions League, where he has scored goals.

For CR7 it is the 177th appearance in the Champions League, and has reached a historic record.

He equaled Iker Casillas as the single player with the most appearances in the Champions League, until he will try to break it into the next challenge at the end of September.

After debuting with two goals in the Premier League in the second era with the Red Devils, tonight he will try to make the historic achievement in the Champions League with a goal.

He already has 55 appearances, scoring 16 goals with the Red Devils jersey – while being the top scorer in history with 135 goals.
