Antonio Rudiger has confirmed he will leave Chelsea this summer.

His contract expires at the end of June and he will not stay at Stamford Bridge.

The Champions League winner is linked to a number of elite teams in Europe, most notably Real Madrid.

Whereas, he said goodbye to the fans today.

“Unfortunately, my contract negotiations started to get difficult last fall. Business is business, but when you do not hear any news from the club from August to January, the situation gets complicated. After the first offer, there was a long period with nothing. We are not robots, you know? You can not wait for months with so much uncertainty about your future,” said Rudiger.

“Chelsea will always be in my heart. London will always be my home,” concluded the German center-back.
