Sassuolo chief executive Giovanni Carnevali has confirmed the player’s desire and talks with Juventus for Manuel Locatelli.

Juve and the player want to join, but Carnevali has stated that the best offer will be accepted, as they want him in England as well.

He has confirmed that a meeting with the leaders of Juventus has been left for today.

“Tomorrow we will have direct contacts with Juventus for Locatelli,” Carnevali told Sky Sport on Thursday.

“He wants to join Juventus. We would be happy to sell him to Juve… but they have to pay the right price.”

He also confirmed that Arsenal has already made an offer for the midfielder who excelled with Italy in “Euro 2020”.

“Arsenal have made an offer to transfer him as well and another new English club has entered the competition.”
