The situation between Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo is tense after a meeting between the club’s management and the player’s manager, Jorge Mendes.
According to numerous Italian media, Juventus has informed Mendes that he will not allow Ronaldo to leave for free.
Manchester City, the only team that has shown interest in Ronaldo, has not made any offer for the Portuguese because he does not want to pay for his transfer.
Mendes arrived in Turin on Wednesday night and met with Juventus executives this morning.
According to Il Correire dello Sprt, the meeting between the two sides was requested by Juventus to clarify the position of Ronaldo and his manager.
The meeting was not peaceful, according to media in Italy, as Ronaldo is seeking to leave at all costs.
Juventus has made it clear in the meeting that Ronaldo cannot leave the Allianz Stadium for free.
Manchester City has not made an offer to Juventus for Ronaldo so far and according to many media, he does not intend to pay a single cent to buy the former star of Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Juventus, on the other hand, want at least 25 million euros to sell Ronaldo.
The Whites are open to sell the Portuguese, but only on their terms.
