Raphael Varane has dismissed rumors that he will join his opponent tomorrow in the Champions League semi-final, Chelsea, over the summer, insisting that he is focused only on Real Madrid.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo wrote on Sunday that the Blues have overtaken Manchester United in the race for the French defender.
But Varane insists he is 100 percent committed to Real, despite rumors pushing him to leave at the end of the season.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference against Chelsea on Tuesday, Varane said: “My future is clear: my only focus is on the remaining games of the season.
“We have to focus on the remaining games. “The message I have for the fans is that I am 100% focused on the team,” he added.
Varane has a contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2022, but there have been no talks on its extension so far.
