Belgian winger Thorgan Hazard hopes that his brother Eden will continue to play in the Euro, as it was not an easy season for him for the Real Madrid player.
Eden Hazard was substituted in the final minutes of the win over Portugal, while Roberto Martinez confirmed he will not be ready to face Italy on Friday.
Thorgan, who scored the only goal against Portugal, believes Belgian medical staff will help Eden Hazard play in the next few games if Belgium move on.
“It was not an easy season for him. But we could see that he gave everything.”
“He did not spare anything. He fought for all the balls, won the duels.”
“I hope he can continue like this, but it’s up to the medical staff to get him back on his feet and I think we have one of the best medical staff in the world,” said Thorgan Hazard.
