Although it was planned that Gigi Donnarummas’ medical test, before signing with PSG, would take place last week, everything was postponed for a few days, so that the goalkeeper would not be distracted by the gathering with Italy.
But after the group stage ended, Roberto Mancini gave his players a day off and Donnarumma used it to go to a clinic in Rome and undergo medical tests in the presence of PSG French doctors.
The Italian goalkeeper was accompanied by Gianluca Vialli, while immediately after completing the medical tests, he will sign a 5-year contract with the Paris Saint Germain club.
Growing up at the Milan academy, Donnarumma has been playing at the top of Serie A for several seasons and recently refused to renew his contract with the Reds, whose contract expires on June 30, as they did not find common ground on salary.
PSG benefited the most from this situation, which will take in “Parc des Princes” one of the best goalkeepers in circulation, without paying any money for the card, however it will have to guarantee a fat salary of 12 million euros per season.
