Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has sent a clear message to Real Madrid about Kylian Mbappe, insisting that the French star does not intend to sell him, much less allow him to leave for free.
Real Madrid have long wanted to bring Mbappe to the Santiago Bernabeu and it has recently been rumored that such a thing could finally happen this summer.
Rumors of the Frenchman’s possible move to the Spanish capital were significantly heightened by Mbappe’s reluctance to extend his contract with Paris.
His contract with PSG expires in the summer of 2022 and if he does not renew it, then he will be free to leave the French capital after a year.
But the Ligue 1 giants boss is adamant in his stance on Mbappe’s future.
Speaking about the future of the 22-year-old, Al-Khelaifi said: “I will be clear. Kylian Mbappe will continue to stay here in Paris Saint-Germain. We will never sell him and he will never leave the club as a free agent. Impossible.
Mbappe is expected to finally decide on the future after the 2020 European Championship, where he will participate with France this month.
